Hello all.

What is actually going on with the update? It was slated for a global release on the 7th of April, with the USA and some EU countries ro recieve it 3 days later. AFAIK, this has come to be, however, in Australia- we are still waiting with no concrete information on when it's set to be released.

Is it the end of the world? No.

But companies should be held accountable for their actions or inactions accordingly. As users of their phones for business and personal purposes, we SHOULD be able to have some level of consistentcy and confidence in their products. Missed releases or lack of information directly from the "horse's mouth" breeds nothing but disappointment for the customer.

I hear (some) of you saying "But OneUI6.1 is stable... " and be that as it may, it doesn't negate the prior information. The tech space moves fast and for a global leader to not keep up with the current trends is a worrisome sign for the future.

If anyone has any thoughts I urge you to comment below!

could just be making waves for clout, but India got the exynos version which they are set for the 14th so if they don't get, then worry

This is end of using their ecosystem for me tbh. I am so disappointed. I really feel it was far better when I was in apple ecosystem. Update was not even a issue in those days.
I am 100% sure that my next phone will be Pixel (I can't just switch immediately as I already invested a lot). I just understood how Samsung treats their exisiting customer.

We'll be getting it tomorrow, or at least, we better be!!

FYI, they never said that everyone would get it on the 7th of April, they said that's when it would begin to roll out to certain regions only (South Korea).

Since when is 5 countries the rest of the world?
Since when is Reddit a 100% reliable source of info?

People need to stop gas lighting others, and stop making mountains from mole hills.

Samsung publicly stated roll out FROM April 7.

Our Community managers also posted mid March that Australia would see it in April.

I saw that as well. Unfortunately most international companies treat Australia as the poor distant relation.

My 7 yr old iOS device still gets regular updates. Shame on the release team at Samsung, seems like it's a tactic to continue selling more S25s with total disregard for existing customers.
