Samsung-Asurion Class Action Lawsuit - Who's In?

I am trying to gauge interest amount of interest in people who have fallen foul to the trade in issues with Asurion and Samsung

They technically have stolen my device since they have confirmed receipt but not paid me for it based on the contract of the trade in

Samsung blames Asurion because they are a separate entity but technically when we are buying products from Samsung with the ideas of trading-in there must be some accountability, and they won't do anything if nothing is escalated

Not only for the actual trade-in value but also for the time we spend chasing them for our money after

Hi Calvin, I tried to reply to this the other day but it seems any of my replies to do with Asurion get blocked.
I'm currently emailing Asurion for a similar problem, and stating class action as well.
I'm hoping they do the right thing and at least go our those who appeal their "condition report"
I'm currently advising anyone with the same issues to raise it with Samsung directly as a case, email asurion, and flag it as fraudulent with your bank.
Other than that, I'm not sure how else to recoup the hundreds of dollars I've lost.
I also truly hope the moderators on here will let this through.
A lot of people are being scammed and it's unfortunate we aren't being able to voice this.

My bank are also now disputing. Though there is a clause in their t&cs saying we needed to grade our own phone via their app. This was never presented to me earlier. Has anyone else had this as well?

Just submitted a request for A Current Affair. Maybe a dose of bad publicity for Samsung and Asurion will kick them in the arse into action

Yeah I hate to be that person but you did sign a contract with Asurion. It's only Samsung who gives you trade in bonuses because Asurion cannot run promotions. The same way Samsung cannot determine the final value of your trade in device.

I am in. Sent my phone in good condition only to be told it's worth $5 and I can't even see the photos of how my device arrived in the portal
