I am trying to gauge interest amount of interest in people who have fallen foul to the trade in issues with Asurion and Samsung

They technically have stolen my device since they have confirmed receipt but not paid me for it based on the contract of the trade in

Samsung blames Asurion because they are a separate entity but technically when we are buying products from Samsung with the ideas of trading-in there must be some accountability, and they won't do anything if nothing is escalated

Not only for the actual trade-in value but also for the time we spend chasing them for our money after

Hi Calvin

I am having the same problem, the phone was delivered 12 Feb and I was told yes they can see the phone has been returned but to date no refund of $370 has been issued and each time I call it is escalated hahaha.

I would like to join the class action.

Cheers Petra

Sign me up as well. Mine is $525. No way to contact them. Auspost tracking showed it has been delivered and still have no news from Asurion.

This has also happened to me,  a near perfect S21 ultra with not a scratch on it and they charged me $365 fee for mis representing my phone and refunded me $10, What an absolute Scam ! I asked to view the photos of my phone and i cant access! no response to my conversation request, Lesson learnt will never  trust these shonks !

Same thing happened to me $185 owing to me.
Phone was in excellent top condition. Now they are saying non good working order. I packed extra bubble wrap. I contacted asurion in a msg but I can only send one message and that was over a week ago. I emailed samsung over a week ago too, they have done nothing. I have now called my bank saying it's a fraudulent transaction.
Also could not view the photos they sent me and tried different browsers with no luck.

Not happy samsung or asurion1709194681670.jpg

@calvin Keep me in the loop. I'm still waiting to see what is the outcome. And yes also received email stating that the device returned is not eligible.
