I've been loyal Samsung user for over 15yrs but my experience with Asurion is now questioning that loyalty. Samsung can you please get rid of this useless company as the many users can testify to this plus its seriously damaging your good reputation that you spend millions trying to keep.

I sent perfectly good S23Ultra for trade in and was told Device display is not functional or is damaged which  is a total fabrication as they had picture showing screen on with phone details. When I got it escalated, 1 week later I got a message that my phone has been returned. Surpise , Surprise , nothing wrong with my phone , turns on fine. When I asked for return reason I was then told my 18mth old phone did not have original screen. This is a total lie as firstly the cost to replace a screen far outweighs trade value and how can they tell when phone screen shows no sign of being replaced. If I believed that then Samsung, you sold me a refurbished phone at Brand new price which makes you as corrupt as Asurion.
Samsung you need to take back control of your Tradein process or find someone else who is honest and reliable.

No please do not get rid of Asurion, it is how I get my Samsung products for cheap, with Asurion you can get S25 Ultra for around $1100, and I also got a tab S10+ for $500 with Asurion. All of my trade ins were useless $10 items, but the trade in bonus is really good.
I agree that sometimes Asurion might be incorrectly classifying functional devices as damaged, but the original trade in values were not that good to begin with so you're better off trading in a low value item to get the bonus and selling your old stuff to other second hand dealers or on FB Marketplace / Gumtree.

Asurion has 113 partners worldwide. They're not some brick and mortar store. And much like Samsung yes they sometimes make mistakes but you're also saving hella lot on your purchase.
