My brother recently bought a Zfold 6 and he was using iPhone 15 Pro Max. Now he has been trying to log in on his whatsapp but apparently he isn't receiving any OTP and just gets locked for given time. 

He tried reinstalling and everything, even contacted whatsapp about it but they couldn't help much. 

Is there anyone else who is facing this issue on Fold 6 or if someone has an answer?

One thing to try is to clear the app cache, clear the cache for Google Play Services at the same time. Go to Settings, scroll to Apps, scroll toWhatsapp, scroll to Storage, clear cache. Do the same for Google Play Services. Restart. However, if the faulty setting is at the Whatsapp end you might have to contact them if that is possible. Also you usually get more suggestions using Google.

Just in case it hasn't occurred to him note as a temporary solution he can login to whatsapp in a browser, possibly creating a desktop shortcut if saving password is on for quick access.

Can he still use it on the iPhone? Is the OTP going to the right number or is it going to Apple id email.

Yeah nevermind, turns out he just had to wait for the iphone to be reset. Once he did that and the wait time got over, it worked.
