Changed from an iPhone to a Samsung.
Worst decision of my life.

1. No prompt customer support, had to wait almost 4 days for a reply.

2. Bought a brand new phone, lagging and stuttering (not expected in a high end phone), gave it in for repair and said no problem found. EVEN after sending them a video of when it happened. GG

3. The "Express Warranty" took 2 weeks to process. Called in the Samsung case manager, quite rude and was told "it was not his job to look into this".

4. We are in March and still on the January patch update

5. Almost always the solution to a problem is to send an error report. After sending a report the solution is ALWAYS "found the problem, the next update will fix it" 🤦. Which brings me back to my 4th point.

Paid almost a grand for this phone, so I did expect some sort of support.

I got a reply to my Duo issue, but I've just asked my wife to download another device for any video calls because I simply can't be bothered.

Hi @dr_ar97, thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your new device.

I suggest trying:

Settings > Apps > Game optimisation service > Storage > Clear data > Disable

That is hidden system app. You can click sort image and turn on "show system app" but you cannot turn off that app

Could be an external factor, reception could be worse than on your Apple phone. Phone could be trying to repeatedly switch between LTE and 3G. To test this temporarily lock to 3G (somewhere in Connections, Mobile Networks.. in Australia load an app called Aus Phone Towers as this will help identify the strength of signal in your area. If phone calls are an issue check if your phone has Voice Calling. If with Telstra, Optus, Vodafone or Boost (but not resellers) enable this

Sorry, accidentally sent. Voice calling sends your calls via broadband to any wifi network you are logged into within the wifi range. Essentially free as it uses your phone plan.
