I have an A14 and whenever I receive a notification my phone makes a sound, but the screen doesn’t turn on and display the notification. Only when I unlock my phone can I see the notification. I’ve tried turning double tap to wake off and that didn’t make a difference. Is there a setting that I may have selected that I’ve forgotten that I can re-enable so my screen turns on when I get notifications?
I tried everything I could but it still doesn't work so I resorted to resetting the phone back to factory settings and guess what, it still won't work. This tells me that this phone doesn't support this feature, which is really bizarre. Can anyone from Samsung tell me why? Do I need to buy a more expensive phone to have that feature? Just to clarify, I get notifications on my lock screen when the screen is on, but not off - audio only.
