I am experiencing serious problems with my A15. I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy A15, soon after setting up the phone I noticed the screen started to jitter, then apps would open by them selves, it was like something was controlling the phone, the gallery would open up and then photographs would be deleted one by one, then another apps would open up, some times ony on half of the screen, then what you see on the screen would continue to flicker and jitter, it's just horrendous and you have no control over the phone, even trying to restart it was a nightmare, when you can finally restart the phone it will temporarily settle down and then this happens all over again after an hour or two. I returned the phone to the place of purchase I received another new Galaxy 15, it did the same thing. I took the second phone into an authorised Samsung repair agent they could not find anything physically wrong with the phone's hardware, they reinstalled the firmware hoping that may be a fix, however within 24 hours of receiving the phone, again it started to display the same problems, this phone is an absolute disaster, over the last two weeks I've spent countless hours setting up the phone three times. After owning approximately five Samsung smart phones prior, with little to no problems, I now have totally lost confidence with the Samsung brand.

Oh yes I have the EXACT SAME issue. I know what causes the glitches as it doesnt just start on its own. I have the fingerprint sensor on and I leave my phone in my yoga pants pocket. So I guess with the body temperature plus constant rubbing against the screen the phone gets glitchy thinking I'm constantly failing to open my screen. I've owned this phone for 3.5 months and the glitches get worse each time I leave it in my pocket so now I dont carry it on me at work anymore. But yeah it's a let down. I had an A13, that phone wasnt perfect but much better than the A15, do not buy this phone.

Interesting however in my situation I don't use the fingerprint sensing option and I assume it's not on, however it does seem to get worse when the phone is in my pocket. Though my phone has also been incredibly glitchy and problematic when I have not had it in my pocket for a long period as well.

I have the same phone and am experiencing exactly the same issue - though not as often as PhoneUser.  A quick search on the net reveals lots of thread on the topic, so it seems to be a recurring, widespread issue rather than an isolated case.  am taking my phone back as it is extremely frustrating, and potentially of severe consequences as the phone could delete or send critical data to either some of your contacts or post random info on the net.  Not happy, what a shame.  - Long time Samsung user with no prior problems on older models

Yes it is frustrating and at times you absolutely need your phone to be reliable, like when you need to ring somebody in an emergency, or trying to access some information from your phone while at work for your supervisor and if the A15 is playing up you can't do anything with the phone it can be incredibly frustrating and also very embarrassing, the bottom line in my case this phone is simply not reliable. I'm waiting for a firmware update and if my A15 continues to be playing up I'm going to have to get rid of it, the phone is still under warranty, but it has been an incredible headache. One thing that this problem has done it to expose Samsung's absolutely inadequate customer service. All you can do is ring the customer service line you get put through to the Philippines where it appeares that somebody reads a standard response off a computer screen, they have no technical understanding they don't really seem to care. The bottom line Samsung has produced a phone that is a dud and they have no answers or solutions to the problem, it's unacceptable and has tarnished Samsung's reputation.

I've experienced this problem with both A15s I've purchased in the last two months. I've updated everything I can and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Restarting the phone (if I even can) only fixes the problem about half the time. I don't have a big income to work with but I need a smart phone for work and this phone glitching out of nowhere has nearly compromised maps and sales information that might have cost the company thousands and thousands of dollars if I hadn't shut of the screen entirely and waited for y phone battery to die entirely before opening again. If this many people seem to be experiencing the exact same problem, Samsung should just recall the phone. I've seen dozens of other people on all sorts of forums complaining about these issues just in my search today, so there's probably even more who just haven't expressed their problems on the internet.

Anyways, it's really disappointing. I'm buying a budget phone because I don't need a fancy camera or a terabyte of storage or whatever. I'd expect the phone to at least be functional, but apparently that's too high a bar to clear.

I switched from the Galaxy A10 to the A15 and am thrilled with the performance of the new device. Unfortunately I have exactly the same problem with the phone. It acts on its own and randomly presses around on the screen. I sent it back to Amazon after two weeks and received a new one. Exactly the same problem after two days on the new phone. It must be a software problem that will hopefully be fixed with an update. Apart from that, the smartphone is simply great.

I struggle how you could describe being thrilled with the phone on one and while its also been completely problematic. The longer I have this phone I am starting to wonder whether it is actually a software or hardware issue, however I still think it's likely a software issue though as I mentioned in a previous thread if the next software update does not completely solve the issues with my A15 the phone will have to be returned and if that is the case I am very annoyed with Samsung because they have produced a product that is riddled with issues which they seem to have no solution.

Well he's an update to my original thread. Five months after purchasing this Galaxy A15 the phone is now worse than ever. I patiently awaited the latest firmware update, then after installing this latest firmware update my phone did happen to settle down, but only momentarily. It appeared to stabilise, somewhat for about three to four weeks, it wasn't perfect but it got a lot better but then about a week ago everything went crazy again with the phone, it's actually now worse than it's ever been. I have no idea what is wrong with this A15, but it seems like Samsung have no idea either and after five months of nearly pulling my hair out with frustration, while needing to use the phone at very important times sometimes crucial, it has let me down over and over again. The last few days there's periods of time and I can't even use the phone at all, though but the thing that outraged me more than anything else is not how bad the phone is, its how bad Samsung's after sales service is, they will not acknowledge that there is a fundamental problem with the phone, they have not provided any solutions whatsoever, the hope with the firmware update being a solution to the problems has proven to be no solution whatsoever. Since the firmware update of notice some new problems actually at times of the lower section of the screen doesn't respond whatsoever and while using some applications I'm unable to answer the phone now. I'm going to try and get a full refund for the phone tomorrow and leave the Samsung brand, because it has really disappointed me knowing that the company just does not really care about their customers. The only so called support that they have provided is a chat bot that has been totally useless,. If you phone the Samsung support number you get somebody in the Philippines that seems to be reading off a script and has no idea or solutions except to suggest to take the phone to the local service centre, which I had done and they couldn't find any problems with the hardware of the phone nor could they provide any solutions
This is the first time in my life that I've bought an electronic product that has been so problematic and the company has no answers whatsoever to resolve the problems, if I have ever had a problem with the product in the past the company of the product has always provided some type of solution even if it is replacement of a similar device, but not with Samsung who has no idea or no solutions and appear quite happy to sell their customers a totally dud product and leave them with the dud product. I won't be buying another Samsung phone again and I don't think I'll be buying any other Samsung product again, given how bad their after sales service is.
