End of December 2022 Samsung A32 update **bleep**. Fingerprint now fails regularly even after resetting it. Do Not Disturb settings that I use daily, leaves phone call and notification sounds muted after ending. Turning me off Samsung for my next phone.

Hi @Papy23
You should send an error report via the Samsung Members app.
Samsung Members app > Support> Error reports > Application > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.
Having said that, you may need to do a factory reset to resolve the issue.
I would also point out that it's not only Samsung that can have issues with software updates.
Apple, as an example, has had quite a few with different iOS16 updates.

There is one thing you could try if not done already,, it is "check added fingerprints" I don't expect the following will help but worth checking. Seach settings for "easy mute" and turn off. Search for "Mute with proximity sensor" and turn off. Search settings for "Notifications" and you will get a a number of settings you can review. Go to Apps, find Phone and clear the cache but be aware you may lose settings and phone records. If you have a gmail account and read up on synchronsation and set Google as the account to save to. This is so contacts and phone numbers from sim card, phone and existing gmail are all combined and can be seen on multiple devices.Google "Samsung phone and notifications stay mute after turning off do not diisturb" for some more suggestions.
