We have this 10 inch tablet which is more of a family device than anything else and mainly used for entertainment purposes. I had to reset the whole thing because Samsung does not have any support for forgotten pattern and for some reason there's no PIN or facial recognition unlock.
So I'm looking for some tips on how to set up this device from scratch. Basically I will be the admin of the device. And then there will be other users in the family.
First problem is after the reboot I have to log in for anyone else to be able to use the tablet. That means they either have to wait for me to log in or I have to give everyone my password. This is no good because my Google account would be logged in meaning everything I have both work and personal will be exposed to little kids falling around with a tablet or deleting stuff. What's the solution to this?
Secondly I want some sort of solution where if I forget my password I can unlock it from another device. For example Google family link can do this with child accounts but I want to be able to unlock my tablet using my phone
Apart from that I wonder if there are other tips on how to deal with the device like this which doesn't have much in remote control options
