Messages App Chat features not working

Hey I upgraded too the s24 ultra today and gave my wife the s23 ultra im with telstra she's with Vodafone and the chat feature isn't working when we send text messages does anyone know a way too fix this?

I'd suggest downloading google messages and using that instead of Samsung messages.

Actually, google messages should already be installed. Use it as the default messages app.

It should use rcs without issues.

Is the RCS the only one not working? But SMS is fine?

I agree with @mbckl, better use Google Messages. Samsung Messages depends on carrier implementation of their RCS unlike Google Messages.
