QR Reader gone.

My QR reader has gone from Samsung  internet  any suggestion. I can't scan QRs at this point.

it did not work. i dont see the qr code reader on my swipe down menu. i dont see it on my camera settings either. i dont understand. my dads samsung camera can scan qr codes and mine cant, both our phones work the exact same way.

OMG! THANK YOU. The samsung members  support team I have talked to said that my phone was not capable of scanning QR codes and tried to Sale me a new phone. Thank you !

On the A8+ no QR setting under useful features, no customise menu, basically a waste of time.

I have the same problem.  The gray area in customize menus does not offer the QR scanner on my phone.  Any other suggestions?

Same problem here. A20 and there is NO option to turn on QR scanning in the camera under settings. Running Android 10 latest update.

Hi @Rincewind, I have confirmed that the QR code scanner is not available in camera settings, however is available through Samsung Internet.

My A8 doesn't recognize QR codes in Camera or have any option for QR codes anywhere that I can find. Please DO NOT refer me to the "Customize menu" option, IT DOES NOT EXIST. My A8 is the 2018 version, perhaps that's why the instructions given DO NOT MATCH.

I once found the QR code scanner in Internet. I tried dragging the icon as some instructions told me to do. And now the scanner is completely gone!

Why is such a basic feature so hard to find and use!!!!

Exactly the same, I have A8+ and have been going around in circles.  With Bing given me instructions that do not exist.  Wasted so much time.
