"Msg's sent via server"

I have about 8 people in my contacts list with a dot next to their name. I am unable to send a normal sms to the contacts as they show as "msg sent via server" and rather than the pic I send, it sends a link. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi @MAK63, the dot next to a contact's name is to indicate they are RCS compatible, meaning you can send them texts over the Internet rather than SMS. 

In regard to link sharing, you can turn this off by following the guide below:
