Recently my Galaxy A50s is having random app loss internet connection, where  I have to restart the phone every time so the app could reconnect.  This is very cumbersome, as it happens daily on random app.

This issue started appearing after upgrading to Android 11.  Have tried multiple way, such as wipe the cache partition, allow background activity for those app, allow all notifs, switch back between mobile data and wifi, to no avail. Also have tried to clear data, cache for the app, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but the issue still happens.

Only restarting the phone will fix it. But, after a while less than a day, certain app loss internet again, and have to restart again.

Anyone have this experience?

I have the same issue with my Samsung A50. Random apps suddenly can't connect to the internet after a few days. Restarting the device would fix it for a few days.

Hi @14will, my best suggestion for you would be to send an error report via the Samsung Members app as mentioned above. Our team analyse these for any potential issues or trends with your device and get back to you with a response. The steps to send an error report are:

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > Network/Wi-Fi > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.

Exactly the same problem with my A50 after update. Format with clean install did not help.

Mostly the issue is with instagram and facebook. 2 times a week minimum.

Whatsapp says some wifi error and will switch to 4G.

Exactly the same issue here with my  A50. Started after the most recent update to Android 11. Multiple times a week (2 or 3) connectivity for certain apps is gone. WiFi and using mobile data (2 simcards installed) is not available until restart and sometimes reinstall of the apps.

This is very strange. Are you able to send us an error report via Samsung Members so that we can analyse the issue? These error reports can help us in identifying any deviations in performance on your device.

To send an error report:

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > Network/Wi-Fi > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.

Same problem with galaxy A50 after update to android 11. Once an app has this problem, only way to resolve is to clear data for the app, uninstall and reinstall again from playstore.

I was not aware that this is a common problem for a lot of users.

Same here, S10+ been having random app losing connectivity without me realising. Been sending error reports everyday when it happens but no one and no solution yet.

I am suspecting its something linked to my MDM, my other s10+ works fine.

Happens to me as well with an A50 after the recent updates. Random app each day stops having internet connection and a restart or a reinstall fixes it temporary. Youtube, Messenger, Whatsapp, Bank software ... everything's affected.

the same here. Samsung A50. Problems started after system upgrade. Random apps lose internet connection and stop working. Messenger, Whatsup, vk, ... Restart do not help. I have to reset application data, uninstall it and install again. After few days from reinstall the same app stop working once again and again....
