Hello,

What is the possible reason why I can't connect to 5G wifi? My husband's phone, A30s can detect and connect while mine can only connect to 2.4G.

Thanks!

Hi~ As per gsm arena, A20s WI-FI Band is 802.11 b/g/n. To connect to a 5G wifi, it should at least have 802.11 ac.

Hello AMSLac!

Thanks for reaching out about the WiFi connectivity on your Samsung Galaxy A20. I understand it's a bit frustrating, especially when you see that your husband's A30s can connect to 5G WiFi.

However, I wanted to clarify that the Galaxy A20 isn't a 5G phone. It operates on 4G LTE networks, which means it can't connect to 5G WiFi networks. That's likely the reason you can only connect to 2.4G WiFi.

Now, here's the exciting part: If you're interested in upgrading to a 5G-capable device, like the newer models that support 5G networks, Samsung often has trade-in offers. You can trade in your A20 for a credit towards a new 5G-enabled phone. [Click LINK for more trade in-trade up promo]

This might be a fantastic opportunity for you to experience the benefits of 5G technology, especially if you value faster download speeds, smoother streaming, and improved overall connectivity.

Feel free to keep me posted on what you decide or if you have any more questions. I'm here to help! 📱💬
