Samsung A71 Screen Discoloration

My phone started to have screen discoloration since September 05. The always on display lock screens seems to have to much backlight and instead of pitch black it looks pinkish. I am using pattern and fingerprint lock setting. When unlocking, the display looks like yellowish/white like fade display at 0 brightness setting. Its like the eye comfort shield is activated but its not.Adaptive brightness is off. For the first 2 days, the device flickers then the problem occurs then after some time it reverts back to normal display then it flickers back to discoloration. It happened frequently until it became permanent. My device is updated to the latest software update this past August.

The super amoled experience is messed up especially when playing games and streaming netflix.

I tried to google it and read on some other sites and communities the same issues even some past flagship phones having the same issue.

I tried solutions like restarting the device,soft reboot, safe mode, even downloading google play books and some temporary fix on youtube but it still occurs.BLACK screen is also pinkish when I dial *#0*# but all RED, GREEN & BLUE are normal. I read some others downloading system UI tuner but i dont want to try it, same with the option of factory resetting.

Adjusting the brightness is not enough. Its like the contrast or backlight is the issue but there is no toggle setting for it. 

Parang sinisindikato tayo ni Samsung na parang Apple dina downgrade nila yung device or nilalagyan nila ng problema yung mga software updates to let us buy new ones. Hardware issue ba to?

Hiii, naresolve nyo na po itong issue? Mine just got this discoloration before pako mag software upgrade. Then after software upgrade into android 12 and One UI 4.1 kala ko mareresolve yung issue pero mas lumala. Whenever I use black background, medyo pinkish na siya.

Same here ngayon lang naging ganto ung akin biglaan. May update po ba if naresolve or need talaga palitan ang hardware?

sa tingin ko wla sa software or hardware ang problema kundi sa lcd mismo mabilis mapundi ung mga diode nya mahina ang pagkaka gawa kc ngfocus ung price sa chipset at storage kaya siguro mahal pero low quality ung lcd

Same issue po. I dont know if hardware or software issue ba ito. If ibaba ko ung brightness , the color seems to be greenish to yellowish, then pag itaas ko ung brightness parang yellow na brown na hndi ko magets huhuhu. I hope may say dito ang SAMSUNG. Nkakabother kasi pag gingamit ko ang phone tas ganon yung kulay ng sreen. baka naman pooo😶

Na resolve **bleep** tong issue nato? Kakabili ko lng secondhand A71. Tapos bigla2x nag iiba kulay ng screen. Nawawala bumabalik.

Akala ko ako lang nakakaranas sa phone ko haha ganito pala tlga ang samsung A71. Nag fiflicker din sakin bumabalik sa dating kulay pero ngayon parang naging permanent yung discoloration.

Update. I am a fan of reading manga so nagbabasa ako dto sa phone ko (nasanay na ko na discolored yung display pero at a certain brightness e medyo nasa normal or original display naman) then i notice nag didiscolor sya and nag fli flick yung display nya. The display of the manga is usually black and white.what i did is tinaasan ko yung brightness ng cp then tinulugan ko lang. Napansin ko nalang na narevert back to original display nawala po yung discoloration.haha sana permanent na to

Hi. Tanong ko lang po sana if recently lang na bumalik sa original display phone screen niyo? So like almost 2 years po na may discoloration yung screen then these days lang po narevert to original display? May discoloration din po kasi tong A71 na phone ko and recently lang nagkaroon like 2 days ago. Medyo di ako sanay sa yellowish color niya.

Sa original post ko po above ang tinutukoy ko pong discoloration is kapag nasa 0 brightness/contrast po yungsetting is parang medyo sepia effect pag mahina ang backlight nung setting mo.

Pag tinaasan lakasan mo naman yung brightness at ang iniistream mo or pinapanuod or ang pictures (anything display sa screen na dark or black ang color) medyo yellowish/greenish/pinkish yung screen.

Mas pansin po pag trinay nyo yung black display pag dinial nyo yung *#0#* normal ang blue red green but yung black is pinkish pag max brightness/backlight.

Pag may discoloration din po at ang gamit nyo pang lock screen e yung side key instead lock screen touch nagiging pinkish din yung display(display kasama yung time and black lang ang background) pag nasa lock screen na without using lock screen background at black lang. Doon sa lock screen try double tapping the lock screen yung kasama nung nakadisplay ang timemayroon po lalabas na toggle setting ng lock screen brightness.pag same yung level 1 at 2 ibig po sbhn para sa akin nun is may discoloration.

Sana na identify nyo discoloration na sinasabi ko at hnd yung na lcd lang or nabasag or nayupi.pero what i know is may problema talaga at factory defect eto ni samsung.
