Screen recording issue (gaming experience)

When my a54 5g was still UI 5 (before the UI 6.0 update), my screen recording seems to work fine, even recording games. But after updating to 6.0, it doesn't seem to work like before. It doesn't record in-game audios and the lighting of the recorded video is much darker than the displayed brightness. I dont know if its a game issue (particularly Genshin Impact and Roblox), but I cant seem to find any solutions to this problem, (I tried adjusting the permissions of the games and restarting my phone, but none of them worked).

are you recording the media audio like in the attached photo?

about the brightness..
was extra dim active during your recording (probably you were playing at nighttime or in a dark environment)?

yes! everytime I screen record, the media audio is always on. And about the brightness, I'm guilty to say that the extra dim was active.... thank you for pointing that out. However, the audio still can't be heard. That's the issue I'm dealing with recently :(

Do you have a list like this and is the game you're recording included in it?

I'm not aware they have a list like this, so i didn't know about this. May I ask where that is??

oh i have sound assistant installed. including an app in that list will produce another volume slider like this (in photo). if you don't have that slider, your app probably isn't included in the list or you don't have sound assistant that could affect your recording.

you said the audio can't be heard..
can the audio be recorded when it's set to media and mic?

oohh, I just downloaded the app. I will be trying the audio now and will update later.

hhmm, so I tried recording. With just the media, the audio stills can't be heard even though the volume of the game was max. And when it's set to media with a mic, audio can be heard, but its quality is crispy and not as clear as before with just the media set. :((

that probably means the mic is working (the audio is a bit noisy because it's recording the surrounding sound and the audio coming from the device). there could be a bug in the screen recording since internal audio can't be recorded.

can you share a screenshot of the notification panel while screen recording with the source audio set to media?

You can also try downloading the following if allowed:
FineLock from Google play store..
inside FineLock, download good guardians,
and app booster.

then run the app booster and see if screen recording improves.

alright, strange thing happened. i screen recorded again my game without the apps you suggested to download, and the first video was silent, but when I screenshotted the notification panel (the image below), the audio came back?? i dont know how that happened. so i tried again after closing the game, and another fail, no audio. that's when i finally get to download the apps you mentioned and recorded for the last time, at last, it worked!!!!! thank you so muchhhh for this. its a life changing solution, I can finally enjoy showcasing the game 🙌

Last question, what will happen if I delete the apps?? Will it affect the performance of screen recording? or the the result will stay?
