Just bought the new A55. Won't connect to my TV in smart view. It identifies the TV but just won't connect and mirror my screen at all. Displays "connecting" endlessly with no result. My old phone (S20) connects immediately as it used to

have you tried to reset SmartThings ?

Thankyou. I have fixed the problem by resetting my TV and creating a pin. Re searched on smart view and was prompted to enter the TV pin on my phone

just because it can happens restoring a backup/copying the old phone into the new phone something don't work fully/properly

the tv have some type of notifications about a new device trying to connect ?

have you cleared all old devices from your old TV?(just in case there isn't available slot for a new device

The A55 and the tv are on the same concession (just in case one is on the 2.4ghz bandand the other one 5 GHz band like happens to my modem )

Thanks it seems to be fixed now. I've connected once so It should would work every time now

hopefully it does too if the A series (I have an A20) always gave me trouble with mirroring/casting/smartView and if is fixed make sure to mark the post so in case happens to someone else will be helpful 😄
