Just bought the new A55. Won't connect to my TV in smart view. It identifies the TV but just won't connect and mirror my screen at all. Displays "connecting" endlessly with no result. My old phone (S20) connects immediately as it used to
I have an A55 phone and a Sony TV. When I try to connect with Smart View the phone does not see the TV. So I tried connecting via ChromeCast using Google Home. This worked for a few seconds until I turned on my hearing aid, which must have emitted a signal which killed the connection. Next day I turned on the hearing aid in a different room, and it appears to be working.
I have just bought an A55 and cannot get my phone to work with my chromecast, I have done everything, I can find on the internet, however, they just are not working. My tv is a Konka not a smart tv. However, never had any trouble with casting before. I find it very frustrating. Have tried using Smart View however, it does not appear to be very user friendly either.
