Hello, I'm having a weird issue with my new A24 when using wired headphones.

I have a regular, TRS pair (no microphone) and since I got the phone it has had this problem. It happens with any sounds, but is most noticeable when listening to quiet music. Once the volume of the music drops below a certain level, there is a noticeable "pop" or cutout of silence. The volume then comes back, but this results in a continual cutting out and coming back as the music plays on. It's noticeable and very distracting.

The strange thing about it is that it's not related to the media volume level. The level below which a cutout happens is "absolute" - if you turn the phone volume up then the cutouts will not happen until the sound gets to a quieter part of the song. If you turn the phone volume down, then the cutouts happen even during loud parts of the song.

The problem happens with music apps playing local songs, YouTube, and even system notifications. It seems to happen with any sound that plays at all. The only app that doesn't trigger the issue, weirdly, is the radio.

Here's the thing - I only have this problem with headphones having TRS jacks, the ones with two black stripes on the plug. On TRRS headphones, with three black stripes and a microphone, the problem doesn't happen.

I have tried several sets of headphones and they all have this issue. I have tried my headphones on brand new A24 demo models in the shops, and they also show the same issue. My headphones work fine absolutely everywhere else.

On top of this, if I use a TRRS to TRS connector on the "working" headset (with a microphone,) then the problem also happens with them! And finally, I bought a TRS to TRRS plug and connected my non-working headphones to it, and then they work fine! I do still need to "jiggle" the plug of ease it in in a special way, but once done, the headphones work and there is no problem.

I have also tried:

- Enabling and disabling Dolby Atmos

- Turning off Google assistant

- Putting the plug in half way

But nothing works, besides the TRS to TRRS connector.

Does anyone else have this issue? Are Samsung aware of it and will there be any fix?

Thank you...

Kind of weird  that the only source about the problem I found is this article only,  there are no other  sites talking about this issue, I think issue is software itself, hope gets fixed soon

I have the same issue,  I use TRS 3.5 mm headphone jack, tried 2 different headphones  (5 dolalr stock  and Dunu Titan S) on my A24, audio cuts in and out between 20%-50% volume ( Changed if music is high pitch, low pitch),  depending on what kind of music I am listening into.  The only different thing with above problem is audio cut disappears at low volumes.  There is no issue on other telephones.
This is so annoying, you can't even listen to songs without either ear bleeding or earing little, hope samsung is aware of the issue.

Because of  the  city I live in, I can't physically visit any official Samsung stores.
Don't know why I even need to visit a store to fix a problem, the issue seems like a software problem, not a physical one. All of  headphones I tried works on other samsung telephones of my family members. Kind of ridicilous honestly.

About the issue, there is another link  in this forum talking about the same issue, though in different language.
