Help! I use a VPN on my Note10 and since updating my phone to Android 11, I haven't been able to connect to my VPN when I'm on 4G.

Funny that it works perfectly fine when I'm connected to Wi-Fi 🤔

I've had this issue before.  When I was testing I found that the VPN does not work when the APN settings on the phone are configured for IPv6.  Maybe try changing the APN settings on the phone to IPv4 only and see if it helps.

I think the path was Settings, connections, mobile networks, Access point names and adding the APN for your carrier.  Mine was Vodafone and I just copied the settings on the pre-configured APN to a new and just changed the APN protocol to IPv4 only instead of IPv4/IPv6.

Don't stress changing these settings as you can just reset the APN settings to default if you mess it up.  Worth a shot for sure.

Good luck!

Hi, I've never used a VPN, can I enquire what it's used for please. I know it has something to do with security and anonymity, but it costs money doesn't it, I just set my default browsers to Duck Duck Go and choose to randomise my ip address. I'm pretty sure it scrambles it up enough to download movies from popcorn for free or torrents. ??
