Network problem after security updates

I had updated the security updates inmy Note 10 plus yesterday (29th july 2022). After the update, my mobile network became unavailable.  It is still the same till now. I cant call anyone .Did others have the similar problem ?

@BabiPrajapati You can try reset the network settings on the phone, be aware this will delete all WiFi and Bluetooth connections as well.

Go to Settings->General Management->Reset->Reset Network Settings.

If the issue continues, I would suggest sending an error report via the Samsung Members app.

Samsung Members app > Get help > Error reports > Application > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.

When I am connected to wifi the network works properly but as soon as I disconnect the wifi , the network goes to emergency calls only mode. I don't know what to do. The network is not available when I am inside the house. As soon as I am far away from my it restores and goes back to emergency calls only. Worst update ever.

Hi @BabiPrajapati, that's odd.

Have you checked with your carrier to see if there is any scheduled maintenance or outages in your area at the moment?

If there are not, I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated by our research and development team. Error reports assist with identifying any deviations in your device performance. Once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further steps.


To send an error report:
Samsung Members app > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.

I just did. When I connect to wifi there is carrier network working fine but when there is no wifi,then carrier network goes to emergency calls only mode .

Hi @BabiPrajapati, that's odd.

You may also want to try resetting network settings [Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings > RESET NETWORK SETTINGS].

If this does not resolve the issue, I suggest sending an error report as mentioned above for this to be looked into.
