Hi there.

I've recently had issues with Android Auto freezing, so following one of the online guides and going through the motions I cleared the cache and data of Google on my Samsung Note 10 Plus.

Android auto is still freezing, but that's a current mystery. What did happen is that I had to reconfirm my cards in the Google Wallet app to re-enable them. That came as a surprise when I was at the till sans wallet.
Re-enabled all the cards and this time the phone won't scan. It's like NFC is turned off....but it isn't.

The app ticks everything saying it should work. I have turned the phone on and off. Turned NFC on and off. Checked the NFC settings. Checked Google Wallet settings.

At the pay terminal, nothing even registers as trying to work. I have tried three or four now over the week.

Any ideas? No error message given.

Is there a better way of testing over my phone failing at the check out each time?

Did you also clear the cahe of the NFC app itself, noting that if you do you will once again lose data

Google "Samsung NFC app not responding" Unfortunately the best link to techwiser leads to a blocked site but there are other suggestions there.

Hey @GingerbreadMe

I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated by our research and development team. Error reports assist with identifying any deviations in your device performance. Once analyzed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further steps.

To send an error report:
Samsung Members app > Support > Error reports > select issue category > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.

Kind Regards,
SamsungClaudette

Hey. I will try this for my android auto issue too, but with the NFC google pay, nothing actually happens to throw a fault.
It just doesn't scan.

I have generated two. Both for an android auto of it freezing.

Not sure I can generate one with NFC as it doesn't do anything to prompt an error?Screenshot_20230321-150936_Samsung Members.jpg

Hey @GingerbreadMe

That's not an issue once you send the error report on your phone. Any issue with the phone will be outlines in the error logs.

Kind Regards,
