My phone suddenly have green line

Can somebody ask Samsung represenative to reply on this isssue? If Samsung cannot reply on this issue then this App, Samsung Members, has no significant purpose.

Sadly, my phone pop up the vertical green line today (July 29, 2023) and need to go to their nearest service centre which is far and hectic schedule of mine. Big hassle for me to do so.

I have samsung note 20 it has green line and pink lines. It appeared right after software update. I brought the unit in their Service center but they're asking me to pay for the LCD replacement.

Hi, I am Anvesh Kolli. I was gifted with samsung note 20 ultra phone in december 2020 from my brother which he purchased in USA. As it is a well know brand worldwide and as this was the newly released high end mobile of that time i was very happy. But in recent update of july, august 2023 in my USA variant mobile phone after thew update i got a green voltage line which appeared out of nowhere. So when I visited nearest samsung service center they declined my request to fix the issue as it was a USA variant and when my brother tried to find the resolution for this issue they straight away rejected the request saying they dont provide service even though the issue caused due to software update. I need to pay and make a hardware replacement to fix the issue or opt for trade in for too which they are not providing any fair price. I lost confidence in the global brand SAMSUNG after they turned their backs on me in every manner even thought the issue was caused due to their update. I am in a situation with no resolution. Need help on this issue.

Hi Anveshkoilli. Last February, I traded-in my damaged with 2 greenlines Note20-Ultra to Samsung's then latest flagship S23-ULTRA for 16.4k, cuz there was an offer of top-up of 13k. So far, my new phone is serving me superbly, no complaint. I hope you will get a good trade-in offer too in buying another Samsung product. Note that there are cases of repaired or replaced new screen phones got the greenlines back. You're right, S20 & 21 series phones hardware can't take the demands of their software updates. Samsung till now is silent above it, not owning their fault. It could cost them hundred millions or billions to do a worldwide recall. Forget about brand integrity.

Same here, Note 20 Ultra owner, green and red lines after update...I'm planning to take this issue to DTI, and eventually social media...this is obviously their fault for rolling an update that can damage the phone hardware...I already raised this to their Support, they want you to pay, then they would offer 30% discount to buy another of their faulty products..wow...is this a marketing stunt???
