This is part 3 of my One UI 4 mini review series. The first time I noticed the green dot indicator, I found it a tad distracting. I've eventually learned to not pay attention when I know I'm using apps that have access to the camera or mic and so far I've not found any applications that have unnecessary access. While I don't find it useful on my end, I believe this update necessary and can be of value in certain situations. The best part of this update is temporarily blocking all apps in using the camera or the mic with quick panel controls - handy for when lending the phone to someone.

What did you think of this update?

The green dot is an indicator if an app is using your camera and microphone

There was an app in playstore, that works the same way

It's there security. So you know whenever the camera or the microphoneis being used. For those apps that might snoop around without your notice.
