S Pen won't connect; air actions not working

TLDR; Air Actions in my Note 10+ are unusable because my S pen cannot connect... at all. All other functions work (writing and selecting), but it bugs me that Air Actions just won't. Troubleshooting tips don't work.

I have tried all troubleshooting tips for disconnected S pens on the Samsung website, but none seems to work. I've had this problem before, but it usually gets fixed after a quick reset. This time, it won't connect to Air Actions at all. 

I am unsure if it has something to do with the software update. I got mine last Jan 19, but the persistent issue only started nearly 24 hours ago.

Any idea how to get this fixed? S Pen reset doesn't work, too. :(

that makes sense. i'll try to reset and get it checked hopefully within the week when the time permits.

no prob! i work a lot with my s pens for my artworks (both Tab S7+ and my Note4 and Note9) so I have a close relationship with my Notes lol. goodluck!

Oh no! I, too, am a Note 10+ user and my S Pen suddenly couldn't connect. I've tried rebooting and done basic troubleshooting, to no avail. My software has the latest version, and checked that it was updated on January 21st. What is happening?? 😪

Maybe we should try changing our S Pen tip..? but I doubt that's the problem when suddenly the error happens to a couple of users

i tried changing my pen's nibs, too, but it's still not connecting. :( even rebooting to safe mode did nothing (so i think it isn't software-related). a comment here suggested visiting a service center and testing other pens. the s pen might be the one with the issue if other pens work. :(

do you use your pen extensively? i use mine all the time, and i wonder if i overworked it or smth. haha. (i still haven't visited a service center, though. 😅)

I use it probably once a week— when I have to take notes during Sunday service or just doodle. So it is not overused at all. 🥵 Yep, I think it would be best to visit a service center to have it checked. *sigh*

I'm having the same problems with a Galaxy Tab S6. Although I haven't used S Pen often, recently Air Actions started to say it can't connect to my S Pen when I'm attaching it to the back of my tablet. If I am being persistent after 10-15 attempts to connect to the S Pen, Air Action connects to it, displays that it is fully charged, and 4 seconds later disconnects from the S Pen. I'm not doing anything this time. I'm just watching the screen changing from "Connecting...", to Connected and then to Disconnected.
I can continue to use the S Pen to write or to select things. But the Air Actions simply do not work anymore.
