N20U5G user here and Globe locked too. Got my update January. Try updating through Smart Switch in a PC.

So far, for those who tried wala naman reported issues. Isa yan sa mga suggested workarounds ng mga members kapag hindi maupdate ny manual scanning. But I personally can't confirm since I haven't tried.
