Galaxy Note11 Oct 2023.
After waking up at 9a.m. I looked at my Samsung Galaxy S10+ phone which had been left idel overnight..not plugged into any charger..with battery power above 50%...and within a five minutes of using a green vertical line appeared. I called Samsung help line and was told as the phone is out of warranty it can be repaired with $54 service charge and about $360 for the screen...I was not willing to go ahead just yet. On the internet I found a you tube video on the issue and a customer said Samsung Singapore did the repair for free. I went online to Samsung chat help and was again told there is no such FOC program...they asked me to soft reset the phone (which seemed just an elusive stunt as this is definetly not something that can be reset like that)...i did try that and returned to chat again and was told that it's only possible if I sent in the phone for an evaluation..at.$54 charge...and than decide..which is obiviously a way to earn the $54 as it's very certain the screen is at fault.

Galaxy NoteHello Samsung,
have the same issues as well after the last update on my S21 Ultra.
So many people are the same issue. It can't be a coincidence that these are all hardware failures.
When is Samsung going come out and take responsibility for this? Stop hiding!
Otherwise, u are going to loose loyal customers...

Galaxy NoteSame here. Using my brother's phone brand new from the box (as spare) but often kept at home. Never dropped or such but now while browsing this green line appeared. Seems too common for Samsung

Galaxy NoteI had S20 that had multiple green and magenta vertical lines. Emailed, contacted everything I can find. They all referred me to samsung repair. They said that it's due to my phone being dropped and I had to avail screen replacement ehich costs half of the phone!!!! I nearly wanted to punch each of every person on that samsung repair center. I never dropped my phone, no scratch, very pristine new condition. And yet they said that to my face? that it's my fault???? I moved on, threw the phone. Then I given your *** device another chance which is why I purchased another S22, then I experienced another fcking similar problem after the update??????
S20 issue line issues have thousands of users affected yet samsung never owned the issue, S22 vertical line issue also has thousands of users affected and yet they still dont want to own it up?????!!!!
This is my last samsung device, *** you and all of you, as long as I live, I will fcking go to every samsung stores, and tell the people there to dont buy phones from samsung due to this kind of issues. I will even go even an extra mile to tell this shot to everyone I know and have it spread like a wildfire.
