I've watched a lot of video tutorials on how to save battery etc. I read comments that factory resetting the device has helped some people significantly improve their battery life. What do guys think about that?

As far as I know, it's an isolated incident. We have same chipset which is touted as the superior model compared to the exynos model in terms of cpu/gpu power and battery life and yet you get a below average battery life. I can get 6 hours easy on my device and I am a heavy user compared to you. So I hope you can figure things out cause I hate to be in the same situation as you (we all hate being tethered to a charger when watching youtube videos. kakangawit 😁). Something is definitely draining your device. Just have to ascertain what it is.

Exactly.. I'm so bothered coz I'm not techie at all. Got this phone coz I've always liked the note series, when I heard this was the last one, I bought one. Didn't even know s22 was coming lol that's how out of the loop I am. When I first got this, it felt so new. I couldn't do the simplest things 😂 so I watched a ton of tutorials. I was mind blown with all the features and was very overwhelmed. So the battery drain is just so frustrating. I'm not taking photos, no social media use, no games, nada. I use it occasionally to get used to the phone. Really hoping battery improves.

Thank you so much. 🙂 You've been very kind kind and extremely helpful. 💯 Much appreciated. 🙂 💯 😀

That's because battery issues with the snapdragon model is really rare. And I am just as curious as you because if (I hope not) I encounter the same issue, at least I have an inkling on what I should do. Do wipe cache first then report back.

Phone is less than a month old, I don't even use it often because I use my iPad more. I have no social media, only YouTube and sometimes Spotify. I've put most apps to sleep / deep sleep. Power saving mode is one. I don't know what else could cause battery to drain so fast. Any thoughts?

Have you tried putting background apps to sleep?

Yes, most are even on deep sleep. How many times in a day do you charge your phone?

The most is once a day. on certain times once in 2 days. Maybe your battery is defective

I charge it once a day but I barely use it. I don't know if that's normal but compared to my other devices, I think it drains quite fast. I'm really considering factory reset but I'm scared it might make it worse?
