Anyone experience Android auto issues with Galaxy s24 plus? Recently it seems like it doesn't want to connect. Sometimes it connects and then drops out and sometimes it does not connect at all.

It seems to be only this phone, our other Samsung Galaxy is fine. Rendered self diagnostics but it doesn't check anything to do with usb-c port

Charging is fine, data transfer I'm not sure since most of my cables are c to c now. Some of the c2a cables when you plug into the computer it says slow charging. What does that mean about the cable?

Could mean the cable’s USB 2.0 or lower - capped at 480 Mbps and ~2.5-4.5W power.

For features like Android Auto, USB 3.0+ is ideal, especially cables certified for Power Delivery (PD) or Programmable Power Supply (PPS)

Yes I believe most of the a2c cables i hold are USB 2 , but not all of them have this warning

Complete the steps below in order and test after each one to see if Android Auto is working properly.

Use another manufacturer-approved cable.  Use the SYNC USB port closest to the SYNC screen.  Set the audio source to USB and try playing music from any available source (Google Play™, Spotify, etc.).

Note: If there is no sound, the USB hardware may have failed.

Delete SYNC from the device's Bluetooth® menu.

If you do not know how to disconnect SYNC from your phone's Bluetooth menu, ask Gemini AI.
