Hey Google works on my Galaxy S21 when not using Android Auto.
Now it doesn't work when connected to my car via Android Auto. Worked this morning but not this afternoon.
A quick Google search will show plenty of others experiencing the same issue but no real solutions.
Have cleared cache in both Google and Android Auto apps, uninstalled apps and reinstalled, shut down phone etc etc etc.
No change.
It's not the car as the 3 other family phones all work, plus my phone has the same issue in my wife's car.
Would appreciate any help you can offer.

Same issue with a Z Fold 5 after the most recent Android 13 update. Tried the standard restart, clearing catch/data (Android Auto, Google and Assistant) and no luck.

Hey @AG90

Thanks for reaching out. I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated by our research and development team. Error reports assist with identifying any deviations in your device performance. Once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further steps.

To send an error report:
Samsung Members app > Support > Error reports > select issue category > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.

Kind Regards,

I see that the response is to send an error report. There is no error the voice integration is broken again. It doesn't read whatsapp messages aloud anymore. And the Google assistant just doesn't work... there's no error it just doesn't work.

I have the problem as well, but seeing it's a Google fault, I reported it to them.

I am also suffering with this on my S21.

I noticed that on the USB tether screen, where it says File Transfer / Android Auto (when you are plugged in) there is no option selected. When you click File Transfer/Android Auto it says a error 'couldnt switch'.

This is very annoying! Hope it's sorted quickly.

Same here. S21 Ultra. Push the talk button on the steering wheel and I am greeted with the "Voice Commands Aren't Available At The Moment" message. Also, the messages can't be read aloud, nor can I reply to them. Frustrating!

I can see so many people with the same issue. AA is such an unstable platform, forever glitchy.

I just tested a WhatsApp message, can't use the screen to reply to that either or listen to it.

So no communication available at all. Very poor.
