Hi @Bfindlay, just adding on to @eLife-Assistant's comment, OneDrive also has a storage limit so it depends on how much data needed to back up.
Certain apps also have encrypted data, or data that may be stored to the phones internal storage. If you have social apps such as Whatsapp, or gaming apps, I recommend doing the in-app backups to ensure you don't lose conversation histories and game progress.
