If I try to connect Onedrive to Samsung "My Files" app it always fails. It just shows the error "Error occurred. Try again."
I have tried clearing app data, even disconnect my Microsoft account and reconnecting.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello,
Unfortunately no. The only solution some people have found is to do a full wipe of the phone without restoring your data. But that's not much of a solution! Samsung have reached out a few times, but have not been able to help. I has been suggested that the cause of the issue is having two onedrive accounts on the phone. Specifically one personal and one business. The business account seems to break something that is unrecoverable. Do you have a Onedrive business account on your phone?

Hi Hall, unfortunately this didn't work for me. I didn't have edge as the default browser, so I changed it to my default. I then uninstalled edge as you suggested, but the error still occurs.

Thanks, I can access OneDrive in Chrome but not in My Files (still stuck at "Loading storage info.../Loading account information...")

I have the same issue. Samsung S23 ultra user.

I have both personal and work OneDrive / Outlook accounts on my phone

I believe this is the cause of this issue.

I also have the same "Error occurred. Try again" when trying to connect to OneDrive. I tried all fixes mentioned in this thread including sending the error report. Although the OneDrive app is installed and fully working it appears that in the "My Files" app I'm not logged in. So connection to files in OneDrive is working fine via the OneDrive app or the browser but not the "My Files" app. Also I have no problems to connect to Google Drive in the "My Files" app.
Perhaps someone at Samsung could check the login procedure in the "My Files" app for connecting to OneDrive. BTW I do not have two OneDrive accounts, only the Microsoft 365 account.

Best regards,

Marc

Hey @MDO_S21

Thanks for reaching out. I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated by our research and development team. Error reports assist with identifying any deviations in your device performance. Once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further steps.

To send an error report:
Samsung Members app > Support > Error reports > select issue category > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.

Kind Regards,
SamsungClaudette

Try signing out of, and then in to OneDrive from the My files app (Settings | Cloud accounts).

I have this problem, too, but I know why it is happening.  My company just built an app that syncs with OneDrive and it turns out that just by having that app installed, the MyFiles app seems unable to use OneDrive, with the symptoms everyone here is describing.  But this thread is over a year old, long before our app was built.  So I'm guessing that there are other apps out there that also connect to OneDrive and cause the same issue.  I would suggest that everyone look at the apps they have installed from the Play Store to see if any of them might also connect to OneDrive.  Try uninstalling such apps to see if it resolves the problem.  I think the bug is in the MyFiles app, but until Samsung fixes it, this could be a workaround.

If you have Ewallet uninstall it and you should be gtg. after the last ewallet update one drive backup was added and it is somehow conflicting with my files logging into one drive. I deleted the app and my files worked with one drive but just installing the app not even going through the cloud setup makes my files malfunction with one drive.

so if you have ewallet by illium installed remove it and try my files with one drive again
