Can't Access Secure Folder

Hi: I've backed up my Secure Folder from my S22 to PC using Smart Switch. When I open the app on my phone it asks if I want to restore the backup. If I answer that I would, it comes back with the message as per the below attachment - Samsung Account Doesn't Match I have no idea what account I used to backup my Secure Folder! How do I get around this problem? TIA

I only have an uneducated suggestion. Try the account associated with your pc even if not a Samsung account. Also consider reconnecting with your pc and try that way. Also try your Google/gmail account.

well I have the same Issue, made a back up including secure folder righ to my pc using Smart Switch desktop app. second today Im restoring the secure folder data, and this message promtps, even I did not used another samsung account... I need HELP!!!

DON'T implement UI 6 until you resolve this or are giving up. There are enough reports of being locked out of Secure folder after updates. If you can open Secure Folder open and backup/copy contents somewhere else until satisfied.

What do you mean by "reconnecting with your pc"? You mean try it again? I've done that numerous times.

Elsewhere I suggested connecting to a Windows pc by cable, from the pc looking in at directories. This was in the context of a backup being paused by a possibly corrupted photo before backup could be continued and finding ways to identify and delete it. Cable connection allows file search and copying and pasting files the old-fashioned way. Presumably as a Secure Folder is encrypted not helpful for that.

Its annoying af and even Samsung can't give me an answer as to why it happens. And i didn't use a different Samsung Account to back up, either! 😡

IS so sad, ! btw we are on the same issue, so even if we join forces, how can this secure folder be trustworthy!

I'm also having issues with vids within apps stopping suddenly. I've done everything, even a factory reset.
I'm seriously looking at going back to iPhone.
