My chat feature not working on Samsung messaging app with other Android users. RCS is turned on in settings and all chat features are on too. I have restarted my phone couple of times with no luck. Is it down for everyone or am I the oy one facing this issue? Also is there a fix to this? Please help.

Samsung Messages does support Jibe.
My understanding in regards to Telstra, was that they forced their own RCS service onto it's customers if they used Samsung Messages. In fact back a few years, Samsung did work with Telstra to get it working, but that was before Google got fed up with carriers breaking what is supposed to be a universal service.

Regarding RCS, I did notice my S22U running Samsung Messages had stopped using Chat Features (RCS) on Saturday, while my Flip4 using Google messages was fine.

I just toggled it off, then toggled it back on and it's been fine since.

I've been a fan of Samsung Messages over Google's Messages, but the recent updates Google has added is starting to make Samsung Messages look a bit old.

Come on Samsung, update the app with new features 😁😁

The only think i dislike from Google messages is that you can't hide the preview of new messages like you can on Samsung messages. Like on samsung messages you click hide preview and when you get a new message it only says new message but on google it shows you the message.

If you know how to hide preivew messages on Google messages please share

Ok so it's gone bad to worse. Now I can't use chat feature on google messaging app too. It keep saying trying to verify😔 And when I go to turn Rich communication on it says it's only available on samsung messaging app and asks me to make it a default messaging app. But when I turn on samsung messages and turn on RCS in settings, it's still not working. So now chat feature isn't available on either.
