Hi there Samsung Support Team,

Are you able to suggest which fonts are suitable for dyslexics? I followed the above instructions, and got to a page that is titled "New fonts for your Galax....". A search for "dyslexic", "dyslexia" and even "dys" and "dysle" returned zero results.

I am a high achieving professional with dyslexia, and would very much appreciate greater accessibility for my Samsung phone, which I use frequently for work.

The Dyslexie font in kindle is brilliant. Please rapidly develop and roll out something similar for Samsung. Dyslexia is a disability, and accessibility matters.

Thank you,

Catherine

Hi Catherine, preferred fonts may vary per person. When going into these settings, have you tried enabling the Bold option for default font or the default font?

This is still an issue for Samsung users. There are a huge range of fonts that are available for free - Dyslexie, the Dyslexia font on HiFont, all sorts of additional apps that provide free access to fonts to support people with Dyslexia, Irlens and other communication needs and Samsung has done nothing to support accessing them. I have downloaded ttf files, and all sorts, and there is no way to run the setup programmes or save them into the font book.

Can you confirm what is being done at Samsung to support users to access this, please?

Free and paid options! There are a total of 8 free options in english so pretty lame compared to other providers. Oh sorry I forget there are 3 more in Korean for free. Screenshot_20221203_203402_Galaxy Store_1000001107_1670060054.jpg

Hi Samsung Team & interested users

Is there no development on this?

OpenDyslexic font is free and could be added of only someone with the knowledge took care of doing that.

I got used to Amazon's Kindle option and would *really* like to use it on my galaxy note - kust updated but nothing new in that sense.

The fonts available for download are fancy but not tailored to the purpose.

SAMSUNG step in already?

Thanks 😄

It isn't a "customer suggestion". Dyslexia is a disability. This is a reasonable request for accommodation. Stop discriminating and start accommodating.
