Got my first green line on my S20+ BTS limited edition on July 1st, 2023 after an update. No physical damage, never been dropped before the line appeared. That was around at its 3 year mark, but now that I'm on my 4th and it has now 2 thick lines on the left part. I'm very careful in handling my phone since I rarely go outside either, so it's shocking to have the green line issue on a phone that's usually just used on the bed or around the house. It's a flagship phone, a LIMITED one. It's really crazy that I've been quoted to pay 13k for a screen replacement when it's not a handling issue. Maybe your flagship phone can't handle the 'heat' or whatever screen you used on the product. Money doesn't grow on trees, and this is the first phone I've ever bought as a fresh graduate who got a job. I really saved up for it since it's a dream phone of mine. Samsung, will you ever offer a FREE screen replacement in the Philippines even outside of warranty just like how Samsung in other countries do it? Samsung France even replies to me to have mine checked and fixed 🤷🏻‍♀️

heads up ,the s20 series was given free of charge repair last 2021-2022 many users benefited and i was part of it.

Including Philippines? I heard of free repair but only in countries like India.

there are factors that needs validation, via service center they will create a technical report.

they already checked my unit before, just told me it's the LCD and no longer the software. but then again, my unit doesn't have any physical damage and never been dropped before the line appeared.

after getting the technical report, what i did is escalate to samsung ceo, and all i did is wait
