Have you experienced when you are closing the flip 4, the screen flashes and turns off immediately even before the flip was totally closed. Previously, the screen is still awake while i close the phone but yesterday i experienced that the screen problem mentioned above.

When the screen dies like this, it does not respond even via fingerprint and double tapping the screen which i usually used to wake up my screen. I have to try several times before it responds.

The difference can be seen on this 2 videos..

Having the same issue although it wasn't turning on at all and forced me into safe mode. Had to do a factory reset and it's working fine but occasionally is doing exactly what the original posters video is doing. Sometimes worse like it does a much more crazy flashing thing. I really think it has to be the most recent software update since it's affecting all of us. Hopefully they can patch it soon and can be fixed.

Dear Samsung Customer Support,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an issue with my Samsung flip phone, which I have recently reported and which has not been handled to my satisfaction.

My phone has developed a significant issue with the screen crease, which began to go black and "bleed" across the display. I did not puncture the phone, as your representatives have claimed. The phone has always been carefully protected in a leather case and I have even applied an additional screen protector over it to prevent any damage. There have been no scratches, bumps, or other marks on the phone, and I ensured it was well cared for throughout its usage.

When I returned the device to Harvey Norman, where I purchased it a year ago; the only visible damage was the black streak across the fold of the phone. The issue I reported, of the crease malfunctioning and causing screen discoloration, seems to be a manufacturing defect rather than damage caused by external forces. The suggestion that I punctured the device is simply not accurate or fair, especially given the steps I took to protect it.

I kindly request a review of my case and that the issue with the screen crease be acknowledged as a defect under the warranty terms. I would appreciate a resolution, either in the form of a replacement phone or necessary repairs, as the fault appears to be with the device itself rather than misuse on my part.
