Galaxy S21 Random Restarts

I have had the S21 since February 2021 and it has been anything but reliable. 

It constantly restarts, sometimes 7-10 times at a time! I have lost customers due to this very bad phone. It's been back 3 times to Samsung and comes back with the report that "nothing is wrong with it."

Samsung VOC aren't responding to my emails. They are fobbing me off.

The S21 overheats each time the random restarts happen. I loose data connectivity constantly. I miss phone calls as a result. The Bluetooth connection is a failure. 

How can Samsung continue to sell this faulty device when they can't even communicate with current customers regarding the current fatal issues?

Sorry to hear about your phone rebooting. I suggest sending an error report via the Samsung Members app for this to be investigated by our research and development team. Error reports are sent to our team to identify any deviations in your device performance, once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further. 

To send an error report:

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.

Thanks for your comment. I have been sending dozens of error reports through the members app for months. Same response, "sorry this keeps happening. The log has been sent to R&D and will get back to you with a solution." The multiple failures continue. Last night the WiFi failed while everyone else in house had no problems. I manually restarted the S21 and then the frequently restart issues happened again. 15 restarts in an hour. Honestly, this S21 is a monumental Samsung failure.

I've had the exact same issue, multiple random restarts up to 15 times a day, I've sent my S21+5G to the iCure repair centre in Granville (why does Samsung use dinky 3rd party repairers, they're a multi-billion dollar global corporation!) and the iCure centre found no fault and returned the device.  The issue has become worse, I can barely use my phone.  I'm actually on call with the Courts and need a working phone, yet each time I am told to send it back to the Service Centre (which means I am without a device for up to a week or two).  Samsung Members tell me the error logs indicate hardware issues with AP and DRAM, yet the service centre run a few tests and say all is fine.  Completely unacceptable and I'm appalled Samsung can treat customers this way.  I suggest you think about going to Fair Trading and also look at your ACL rights.

Hi. After multiple months of trying to prove I wasn't lying about that terrible S21 phone, Samsung finally relented and swapped it out for an S21 Utra. I haven't had any issues with this phone thank goodness. I had to send that previous S21 back 4 times. It was crazy. My real issue was with the unprofessional manner Samsung deals with customers. Unforgivable. I hope everything works out for you. Keep fighting.

Your posts give me hope that Samsung will stop with the generic messages and actually take some action. 2 phones bought at the same time. I got the dud. Overheating and lock up/restarting. Every time I see the phone do it I send the report only to get the same generic message again. The only thing that changes is the operators name. I'm thinking I need to go to the small claims tribunal to get anywhere.  Well done and thanks for your posts.

Hi. You may need to go to the Samsung Kiosk a couple of times and call them until they are sick of hearing from you. Samsung must know by now that the S21 is a very bad and unreliable phone. They can't keep their denial attitude as if all is okay. I, my family and friends will not return to Samsung with any product, not because of the products necessarily but because of their unprofessional customer service.
