Good news for those who affected with green line

Hi. This is might be a good news for those who has affected with green line problem. Samsung now has program for screen replacement (but ofcourse it's not free lah but more cheaper than usual price !) until the end of Aug/Sept 2024. Actually I've got the same problem, it will cost me around RM700+ for screen replacement but with this program I just need to paid RM90+ (well, maybe it depend on your phone model. The latest phone will cost you more but maybe not exceed than RM200). Don't go to third party phone repair ! They will charge you at least RM1000+. Please visit nearest Samsung Customer Centre branch store. And please spread this awareness to your family and friends that affected with green line. I don't know why Samsung don't tell their user about this program. So dissapointed 😕 Hope this will help you guys :) 

Edited: Oh you need to leave your phone to get into this program (depending on availability of your model phone stocks). Otherwise you need to pay original price (dont know why behind this reason tho). before this, you can use your phone until they called you back when the the stocks are available. Make sure you have spare phone (maybe samsung will provide extra phone too, subject to availability).

Thanks for the info! They could've made it a regular monthly offer, like every specific month we get to enjoy cheaper repairing fees. 😔🤌 Not like during Aug - Sept only my green lines will appear mah hahaha, later Oct only appear leh oops

Actually this program started since January 2024- March 2024. Then, the green line issue has increase, they extend the program until this Aug/Sept 2024. So dissapointed with Samsung dont tell their user about this program earlier, but it not surprise at all. They should announce at every media platform they've got so the user dont have to worry 😪

I have just asked chat support. She mentioned there is no such programme 🙄. Where can i read more about this? Or at least not being turn down when i go to service centre

Sorry I'm not sure about that. I just know recently when I want to replace my phone screen at samsung customer centre. I thought that they will charge me RM700+ but it turns out, they have this kind of program. Not sure for all phone model or just selected model. Btw, I'm using S series.

I went to Low Yatt samsung they said the offer was from January to March. I said to them it wasn't it till June. Then he said yes it was June. Btw I went in July. So in a way they try to avoid giving free replacement. Lol

Hmm. Maybe ill just pay a visit to service centre then. Im using S series also. And i just bought a new S series because of this green line. I didnt do my research thoroughly🥲 *or asking the right person
