Hi

I updated my S20 Ultra on the first week of August 2023 and at first the phone was working as usual with no issues.  I have started getting multiple issues

1. The display got green lines. Not able to use any apps.

2.  Touch Screen stopped working and horizontal green line arises on the screen.

3. The screen goes dark without me adjusting the display.

My phone which was working great before the update is virtually unusable and now not it seems dead.

Needless to say I am VERY upset about this.  I feel like this update wasn't tested thoroughly before it was rolled out and now myself and other S20 Ultra users etc.

Hey Himmiroks,

We can't determine if it's a software or a hardware problem from Samsung Members. We are, however, aware of the green line issue and have steps in place to diagnose, detect, and repair any problems.

Please head over to your nearest Samsung Service Center, or book an appointment from your Samsung Members app, or call #GALAXY.

Thanks, and let me know if this helps you out.

This never happened on my S4 and S7 edge even though i play games while charging and the phones get really hot. S7 edge would even stop charging due to excessive heat.
To my surprise, my Note20 Ultra never felt hot even when playing game while charging but it had green lines also after updating to OneUI 5.1.

Now I see to it that I'm in a cold room or the phone is directly in front of a fan when installing updates and I don't play while charging even with bypass charging on.

There's a free screen replacement for S20 lineup (nothing for Note20) but I don't know if it's still on.

Definitely this Issues arises after the update and there is not hardware issues. This should be fixed without any charge, also mentioned in the community that there's a free screen replacement for S20. Please confirm. Is there any any code that we can show to the service centre
