I recently had to have hearing aids fitted and was advised that before selecting the required aids what sort of phone did I own.

I informed the provider I had a Samsung and she replied that Android phone are not compatible as to the features included with the aids. How long before Samsung makes this possible. Looks like I w I ll have to go IPhone.

Hi @Tony1234, thanks for reaching out. Are you able to clarify why this was not compatible? E.g is there an app required?

Hi and thanks for your reply. There are 2 apps for which I have tried and the first one been Resound Smart 3d where it will not connect with both hearing aids. Been in contact with supplier who advises Samsung version 12 not compatible. The other app is Signia which will connect both hearing aids but will not streamline. Have not been in contact with supplier to find out why. Let me know what you require and I will try and assist.

Hi @Tony1234, thanks for confirming.

In regard to Android 12 compatibility, this would be dependent on the developer to update the app. For this, it is best to contact the support team of the app to inquire about plans to update.

As for Signia, I can see that it lists your model as compatible. For this, it may be best to contact Signia for support.

I use an app called remote hearing. I have had absolutely no problems with this app. It uses Bluetooth.
