Has anyone experienced there S25 device burning through battery power really quickly and overheating?

How long have you had it?
If you've only just got it recently, it could be still going through the learning and optimisation process.

Have you also checked battery stats in the device care section to see what apps are using the battery?

3 weeks now. Charged the battery to 100% and in 7 hours with minimal usage was down to 43%. While just checking device care and going through apps running in the background the phone started heating up real bad.

Maybe check background app usage? Could be something draining it.
