I have been using my new galaxy S22 Ultra for a week now. Not happy with the battery performance. It drains out super fast with normal usage. My previous s20 Fe 5g was far more superior in terms of battery longevity. Is anyone facing the same problem????

Hi Nigie, as the issue continues, we suggest submitting logs as an error report. Our team will be able to analyse diagnostic data and will be able to advise on how to best proceed with the issue.

How to raise an error report:

Launch Samsung Members > Get Help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.

I wonder if there is an installed app that is for some reason doing this. It doesn't sound good, but it would be worth checkong none the less. There are battery apps which give you advanced info

You can find out what's using power in settings > device care > battery > learning usage > battery usage. That tells you which apps are using power.

Hi @Sammyaus, I am sorry to hear you're having issues with your new phone.

Do you multitask with your device such as calling whilst browsing or charging your device whilst using it? These processes take up CPU in the device and can cause the device to increase battery consumption.

First thing you should do is stop any apps that might be running in the background [recent applications (left navigation key/icon)>close all].

It is also a good idea to use device maintenance to optimize the phones settings [settings > device care >optimize now > done > battery/performance mode > storage > memory > device security].

As battery drainage can be due to active apps using the data connection (mobile data or Wi-Fi), you can also turn on data saver in the phones settings [settings > connections > data usage > data saver > toggle: on] and you can also allow unrestricted data usage for particular apps in this menu.

If the issue persists, I suggest sending an error report via the Samsung Members app for this to be investigated. Error reports are sent to our team to identify any deviations in your device performance, once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further.

To send an error report:

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.

Hi. Is there any app where I can check the statistics of every app installed consuming most of the battery performance.
