I have been using my new galaxy S22 Ultra for a week now. Not happy with the battery performance. It drains out super fast with normal usage. My previous s20 Fe 5g was far more superior in terms of battery longevity. Is anyone facing the same problem????

2 weeks ago I got mine, and transferred everything via Smart Switch.  I noticed instantly battery life was significantly worse than my 3yr old Note 9 but gave it a while to settle. I don't stream or watch videos or play games, just calls, whatsapp and emails. I have 5g off, I have the lowest resolution set, 4gb Ram set. All the usual sensible config set correctly. I'm fed up of people saying turn off this, turn off that, i've got the £1300 phone set to the bare minimum. Now I have had the phone 2 weeks, that is sufficient to learn my usage patterns. This is a 5000mah battery, i'm running the same settings as my 4000mah 3 yr old Note 9 and battery life is hopeless.  I truly believe Samsung spent all the money on marketing this phone and less on research. If Samsung acknowledged the problem and could do something in a firmware upgrade then that's fine, but I suspect its easier to tell people to turn off 5g / wifi  / BT / notifications i.e. turn my phone back into a Nokia 6210 than addressing the issue. Come on, where is the progress here. Ok, I get that you've removed LED notifications, headphone jack, removable battery, SD card functionality, and I still bought the phone, but don't take away my battery capacity too. Surely something is not right. Barely a day is unacceptable and needs resolving.  Ive also got a nag about the useless vibration motor but that's fell on deaf ears and excuses on  the Samsung Members too. I just want the solutions, or at least an acknowledgement and a plan would be good.

Hi Nigie, as the issue continues, we suggest submitting logs as an error report. Our team will be able to analyse diagnostic data and will be able to advise on how to best proceed with the issue.

How to raise an error report:

Launch Samsung Members > Get Help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.

Same here. Only had the phone  for two days and even bought a 45w usb with new cord and still, literally, takes all night to get to 100%

Hi @LearningCurve19, that's really strange. Depending on which charger, devices should only take 1-2 hours to charge.

I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated. Error reports are sent to our team to identify any deviations in your device performance, once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further.

To send an error report:

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.
