I have been using my new galaxy S22 Ultra for a week now. Not happy with the battery performance. It drains out super fast with normal usage. My previous s20 Fe 5g was far more superior in terms of battery longevity. Is anyone facing the same problem????

I traded in Note 10+ for this bulky S22 ultra

Ever since I regret.

Note 10+ was slim **bleep** lady

S22 ultra is fat old man. When I say old means it is not holding battery. And my usage is same as with my old phone.

Stay away from S22 ultra.

I have had the s22 Ultra for a month now. The battery has not learned anything about my usage. I run the battery to or near zero every day doing the same daily tasks I did with the s10+ which rarely went below 50% batt in a day.

I've been running automation, adaptive power save mode, adaptive brightness, the screen is less than full resolution, apps are going into deep sleep, and nothing seems to work.

Oddly, one day a week, I'll get a more than average day out of the battery, but then it just s u c k s up power the next day.

I'm concerned that the phone design is faulty. Did the s21, s20 or the Notes ever have this issue? I'm somewhat sorry that I turned my s10+ in for a phone I don't dare use fully incase I can't get in front of power to recharge mid-day.

This is just dramatic. I am using Galaxy s22 + and besides the battery, this is amazing phone... But i have reached the level, when im sacred to unlock My lock screen to use the phone, because of this insane bartery drain... I have TURNED OFF: adaptive 120hz, mobile data, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and anything else what is consuming battery, and i have really nice mobile signal, but still... 1.5 hour Screen On Time and form 100% i lost My battery to 65%... And this "recommended step" to check battery usage by apps in setup, doesn't show anything special... This is really disaster...

Yes, same issue with the S22 ultra 512g here. The battery drains fast, Is there any option to return it?

same BS here ... had the phone for a couple of weeks.. S22 ultra Snapdragon Gen1 512gb .. for a phone at that cost what a shame ! as soon as i unplug it and within minutes i lose 1-2% without use and its downhill from there.

Get your s**t together samsung and fix this. My backup phone is a cheapo realme 6pro phone and the battery goes for 2 days  on 90hz refresh rate and it has a smaller battery than the s22 ultra battery !

What a shame all this marketing **bleep** and about changing the world and breaking the rules and 4 firsts..yeah it's not all that great when you can't enjoy it without being anxious that your 5000mah battery is barely enough for half a day!

I'm having the same problem, my 3yr old s10+ would last almost 2 days under the same usage my 22 ultra might last 12 hours

Had note 10plus for well over 2 yrs and the battery life was much better on that phone after more than 2 years of use, than it is on my brand new 22 ultra. It's also heavier and thicker. I'm not happy. Will try to warranty that battery issue. If it persists I will get an iPhone. My wife upgraded hers and she says the battery life is outstanding when compared to her older iPhone. I do not know what Samsung does wrong but if they cheap out on components, then the price they command for their "flagship" feels like a rip off. I hope that's not the case, but if it is; they will lose a loyal customer...
