Not receiving text only messages from certain numbers. Can receive texts in same location from other numbers. Have to use mobile data for the text messages to come through.
Been happening for over a year from one number but recently started with another number.

I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated by our research and development team. Error reports assist with identifying any deviations in your device performance. Once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further steps. To send an error report: Samsung Members app > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.
What is RCS? I do send error reports but they do nothing and if something sends a text and don't receive it until hours later they say send within the 2 to 3 minutes
Hi @gazza090, RCS enables you to send messages over mobile data rather than SMS. I am wondering if you are having issues with RCS and for some reason it is not reverting back to SMS.
Have you tried ejecting your SIM to ensure it is inserted properly?
Ok, you need to set the conversation with the person to SMS only, they need to also do the same on their end. If you are using RCS you might "not delivered" errors like i seem to get which is annoying.
