@samsung I'm paying premium price to buy your flagship product Galaxy S20 plus, but you lousy quality phone after used 2 years plus, without any drop or damage, out of sudden appeared green line on the screen.

Then found out this problem already impacted world wide users, so many users raised dissatisfaction. I contacted Samsung Malaysia and asking me to pay rm1k to repair your product defect, just because the free replacement ended 1 month ago. If this is a product issue, you should honour it and take responsibility of the issue as not due to misused or phone dropped by users, you samsung should take the responsibility.

Despite samsung service center confirmed there's no misused of the phone and it is the same product defect, you still reject the repair. The worst experience with Samsung now. I'm going to END my business with Samsung, good luck to all other victims out there. Apple is my choice for quality product and reliable customer service.

Being neutral on this, I look it as a good opportunity for Samsung and not as a cost or bad marketing to them if they fully admit the issue and completely replace the screen free of charge.

It builts TRUST and LOYALTY in the long run... which in the end will cover the whole cost of replacing the screens which just peanuts compared to a possible double or triple or more profit.

Yeah it does build trust as you can see with apple if their product has an issue they replace it,this green line issue is very common in S20 mobiles but looks like samsung doesn't need customers.

King2310 I too had the same problem which I had also posted some time ago.
Despite them acknowledging the problem, they still rejected mine due to the excuse that during their check, they found that my phone failed the leak test despite telling them that I have never dropped nor tampered my phone in any way. On top of that, I had to pay RM30 for the report.

Anyway, since then my family and I have decided to give up on Samsung. While I do agree that Samsung phones are good, but their customer support and quality is something else.

My family have all been using Samsung all these years but now we've decided to give up on them and got the 14 pro max for myself and my wife while my sister got for her the oppo find x5 pro.

I'm still using my 20+ with the lines now increasing from 1 earlier to 7 lines now. But it's only for office calls and nothing else.

They will give all BS reason to avoid the repair. Even my phone has done checking by Samsung service center technician, no misused or mishandled found, purely the same defect reported by all other users, they still rejected the repair. The worst is, when talking to the customer service, they keep trying to end the call without letting customer explain the problem until i have to ask them to arrange a manager callback so i can file a complaint to the customer service.

In fact, I'm also same has been using Samsung since S5, and my family using S20 plus already change to iphone 14 pro. I'm checking to see 14 pro or wait a while to go for iphone 15.

Good bye to samsung products!

I contacted them about green line issue in January 2023 and they told me the cost is above thousand ringgit, I never heard of free replacement I think they're lying through their teeth, they are replacing S20 screens in India free of charge but not in Malaysia. I'm going to replace it with apple no use buying another samsung.

Yes, many s20 series users having this same product issue. Foc replacement stop at match 23 is really **bleep** and not making any sense. Pay so expensive to buy the flagship product, just last for 2 yrs and gone. Lousy quality and now moved away from any Samsung products.
