Suddenly a red vertical line appears out of nowhere on my screen and it does not go away. I suspect its due to the software update. I'm a loyal Samsung user for many many years since S8 series but am disappointed that this happens to my Samsung S22 which I have only used for 2 years. Saw that this issue is actually getting common among the newer S22 phones. Appreciate if Samsung can provide a solution for the vertical line.

no, there are someone out there that never update their S22 software and still get vertical line

it's mostly because of heat generated on your phone, and thanks to phone case, phone case prevent heat to go out from phone body

yea i hope you get solution, but don't expect too high, you need to replace the screen in full price i think

It seems known that I already started after burning hands on s22. First, my overdue watch got replaced by a non samsung model, then....slowly disengage everything...#RIPSamsung

Better fix outside....

Similarly to my S21 Ultra, the red vertical line appeared suddenly, repair costs $300, est. trade-in price < $300.
