This happened last December 2023 and reported right away. Already surrendered my phone in a service center for diagnosis and assessment for submission of technical report for the consideration of Free-of-Charge request. Out of warranty since February 2023.

Hi! I have a S22 Ultra, I've also experienced the horizontal green line appearing beside the camera hole when my phone is in 120hz refresh rate. The phone was still fully functional, even when I ran a diagnosis on the device from touch to s-pen hover all was running fine. I've tried soft reset on my phone and also done Factory Reset as advise thru email prior going to a service center if the issue still occur and unfortunately it does. The service center that supposed to diagnose and assess my unit just gives me a quotation for the repair, what needs to be repaired  and what is the issue of the unit (which I already knew by the way.,) but not the probable cause and reason. When I asked them what might be the reason is they said it was "natural breakdown" of the unit which was not included in the "Technical Report" as stated by the case manager. As of now I'm still coordinating with their team with what really happened to my unit because it really is not acceptable to pay another unreasonable price for the REPAIR of an "EPIC STANDARD" flagship unit. 

 

By the way Samsung India has offered free replacement for this same case within 3years of its purchased date upon proper evaluation and diagnosis and I dont see any reason why Samsung Philippines would not do the same.

Same case happened to me on my s22 ultra. Disappointing flagship product for less than 2 years to experience this. I'm thinking now to shift to iPhone

sorry to hear that @ronchav. Have you tried bringing it to samsung? There is an ongoing petition online.

I've been an avid user  since 2013, and been also thinking about that option lately.

Thanks for your comment. The Green line is too disturbing and too bright which makes my eyes uncomfortable after a while. Anyway yeah I will tey to contact service center once I am back in Singapore. Hopefully they will replace the parts even out of warranty

Temporarily you could set your motion smoothness to Standard as seen in the photo attached so you wont hurt your eyes due to the brightness. However, there would be a noticeable difference in the quality of the display. The units performance wont be affected only the display, base on my experience. 

Yup, that would be a good thing letting them know if there is something wrong with the unit. Also, some countries, have given FOC replacement for the same issue.

Thanks and yeah I saw this option in the petition and that green line went off after changing to Standard settings. Though on the left side there is a noticeable line but definitely this is better than having a bright one. Ill try to submit also that petition as this is not acceptable. We choose and paid top of the product and we deserve to get what we paid.

Mine is S21 after updating last Saturday's pink line appeared. I will shift to iPhone 15 soon.
